Loreal Paradise Enchanted Palette

So I'm always looking for decent eye shadows from the drugstore that won't break the bank. So many of my friends ask me for eye shadow recommendations that aren't high end.  So when I heard people saying that the new Loreal Paradise Enchanted Eye Palette was good I set out to find it immediately.

Loreal Paradise Enchanted
I found mine at Walmart for about $14.99. For a drugstore eye palette I found it to be a little pricier. Typically once a brand crosses the $10 mark I will default to higher end brands. The price can vary by the retailer though so do your research.

The packaging on this palette is a beautiful pink matte frost with pink dividing the shades. The palette is sleek and easy to pack in a makeup bag. There is a window instead of a mirror which for me is a good thing. I like window palettes because I enjoy being able to see the shades inside, but I find most people tend to disagree with me on that point.

The actual shades in this palette are lovely. It's a beautiful combination of soft warm neutrals and has a good balance of mattes and shimmers. The biggest downfall in this palette is the lighter shades do run chalky. The pigment in this palette is decent. The colours do show up on a proper base and blend nicely when applied to the eye.  It's easy to create neutral wearable combinations on the eyes that most people would be comfortable with.
